CLAREMONT, Calif. – Claremont-Mudd-Scripps is joining NCAA Division III programs nationwide to celebrate the impact of athletics and student-athletes on college campuses. From April 3-9, CMS will be sharing videos that document just a few of the hundreds of stories about why our student-athletes play DIII.
We welcome all those connected to CMS Athletics - students, faculty, staff, families, fans and so many more – to join the national conversation and share why you love Division III. Please use #whyD3 in your posts and tag @AthleticsCMS on Twitter and @cmsathletics on Instagram.
Monday: Academic Experiences
Our student-athletes chose DIII for intimate class sizes and endless learning opportunities
Tuesday: Off-Campus Study
Many of our student-athletes have experienced the unique opportunity of better understanding our world through off-campus and study abroad programs
Wednesday: Campus Involvement
Our student-athletes continue leading off the field too -- in clubs and organizations, dorm life, research institutes and community outreach
Thursday: Dual-Sport Athletes
Our student-athletes can juggle all of these things year-long, even while committing time to multiple sports
Friday: Why CMS
Our student-athletes didn't just choose DIII, they chose CMS and are PROUD of it
A HUGE thank you goes out to Kris Brackmann, the SAAC, and all the student-athletes that were interviewed this week!
