Women's Soccer All-SCIAC and Team Awards Announced

The Women's Soccer All-SCIAC Team were recently announced along with the Athena team awards.  Three players were selected First Team All-SCIAC: Camila Friedman-Gerlicz (SO, Santa Fe, NM, GK), Brittney Watson (JR, Sammamish, WA, MID) and Megan Kum (SR, South Pasadena, FWD [pictured-left]). Three more players were selected Second Team All-SCIAC: Hillary Tribbs (JR, Lake Bluff, IL, DEF), Ashley Green (JR, Seattle, WA, MID) and Sarah Blavet (JR, Austin, TX, MID).   The Athena team awards were also handed out this week.  MVP defense went to Friedman-Gerlicz while MVP offense went to Kum.  Rookie of the Year was awarded to Laura Hagen (FR, Bellevue, WA, FWD).  The Athena Award went to Erin Chamberlain (JR, Medford, OR, DEF) with the Most Improved going to the trio of Chrysanthia Cheung-Lau (FR, Ontario, DEF), Kirsten McAfee (FR, Albuquerque, NM, MID) and Rebecca Pedroza (JR, Las Vegas, NV, MID).  The Coach's Award went Kate Jarvis (SR, Monrovia, FWD [pictured-right]). Congratulations to all the award winners.  The NSCAA All-Region teams will be announced next week.
