Ross Named SCIAC Athlete of the Week

Evelyn Ross (JR, Iowa City, IA) has been selected the SCIAC Athlete of the Week for the week of October 8-14.  She won the SCIAC Multi-Dual meet by 10 seconds and finished 55 seconds ahead of third.  She set a personal best time (by 45 seconds) of 23:46 on the course even though the course ran slower than usual due to large sections of mud.  She led for the entire race and pulled away from second over the last mile.  In the three races she has run this season with primarily Division III competition, she has finished 3rd, 2nd and now 1st.  CMS finished 5-2 in the meet.
