    CMS Beats Cal Lu in Double-OT Thriller Zach Mallove (SO, Bainbridge Island, WA) hit a 42-yard field goal in the second overtime to give CMS a 30-27 win over visting Cal Lutheran. The Stags win ended the Kingsmen's 11-game winning streak and was the team's first overtime win since September, 1987.

    Stags Run By Panthers CMS fought back from a 14-7 haltime deficit to beat the visiting Chapman University Panthers 28-21 on Saturday evening. CMS outrushed Chapman by 130 yards in the game (241-111) and controlled the clock in the second half, keeping the ball five and a half more minutes. CMS improved to 2-2 overall with the victory.

    CMS Opens With Big Win Over Kenyon The CMS football team opened their season with a dominant 34-10 win over visiting Kenyon College on Saturday evening. The Lords scored on their opening drive of the game and then were held to only a field goal over the final 57+ minutes. The Stags scored on three of four drives in the middle of the first half and their first two drives of the second.
