CMS defeated Pomona-Pitzer 27-22 before an raucous Homecoming crowd on Saturday and returned the Peace Pipe, symbolic trophy for the game's winner, to the Ducey Gym trophy case.

CMS fought back from a 28-14 fourth quarter comeback on Saturday night before falling to Occidental at home 28-27.

Stags Lose Early Lead, Fall To Loggers
The CMS Stags lost to the Puget Sound Loggers 22-12 on Saturday evening after holding leads of 9-0 and 12-8. CMS fell to 1-1 overall while Puget Sound improved to 2-0.

CMS Wins On The Road Against Kenyon
The CMS football team opened their season with a victory over Kenyon College for the second straight year. The Stags traveled to Gambier, OH and came away with a 21-18 win.

Ashton Clarke (JR, Santa Rosa) led the defensive effort against Kenyon. He had 12 solo and eight assisted tackles. He also had an interception and broke up two other passes.

Ryan Larsen (JR, Seymour, IN) connected on eight of 15 passes for 112 yards and one touchdown in the team's win over Kenyon.
