The Stags once again proved their dominance over their cross campus rival by defeating the Sagehens in the season finale, 28-21, to retain the coveted Peace Pipe in front of the large homecoming crowd at Zinda Field.

In what can be considered one of the Stags’ most thrilling victories in recent memory, CMS edged the Poets of Whittier, 21-17, on a game-winning TD with 15 seconds left on the clock.

Three Players Earn Academic All-District Honors
D.J. Lillard (SR, Phoenix, AZ [left]), Brock Olson (SR, Lake Oswego, OR [middle]) and Patrick Atwater (SR, La Canada [right]) were voted to the ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District team which was released today.

Stags Lose a Nail Biter at Cal Lu, 21-14
CMS faced Cal Lutheran's top ranked offense and defense on Saturday and battled hard the entire game before falling in the final two minutes 21-14.

Stags Win a Tough Conference Road Game at La Verne to Improve to 3-1
The Stags know there are no easy victories when it comes to conference play. A conference road tilt at the University of La Verne would prove to be no different, but the Stags made the big plays for a 17-7 win.

Stags Fall in Conference Opener to Defending Champs
CMS lost to defending SCIAC Champion Occidental College 42-21 on Saturday. The score was not nearly indicative of how closely contested the battle was.

Stags Beat Loggers To Go 2-0
CMS beat University of Puget Sound for the first time in six meetings on Saturday. The 14-6 win improved the team's record to 2-0 for the first time since 2002.

Stags Win Season Opener
For the sixth straight year the CMS Stag Football team won its season opener. The team traveled to Portland, OR last weekend to beat the Lewis & Clark Pioneers 22-7.
