Chris Vicory has joined the CMS football staff as offensive line coach and will also coordinate the special teams. Vicory was most recently the Head Football Coach and Offensive Coordinator at College of the Redwoods in Eureka, California. During this past season, coach Vicory lead a Corsair offense that broke 16 school offensive records and led Northern California in passing yardage.
Prior to moving to College of the Redwoods, Vicory was the Offensive Coordinator at Mendocino College in Ukiah California. Coach Vicory's no-huddle spread offense lead the Bay Valley Conference in passing yards and passing touchdowns. He began his coaching career at his alma mater, Humboldt State University.
Coach Vicory was a three-sport athlete (football, wrestling and track & field) at Rio Linda High School in Sacramento. He spent the next two years at American River College before transferring to Humboldt State in 2007. As a center, Vicory helped American River to a Mid-Empire Conference championship his freshman year. At HSU, Vicory played offensive line for two years before graduating in 2009 with a degree in Recreation Administration and Planning.
