Lee Selected To Compete At NCAA Championships
Tain Lee (SO, San Juan Capistrano) is one of five individuals nationwide selected to compete in the NCAA Division III Men's Golf Championships along with the 36 teams in the tournament.
Lee, the SCIAC Player of the Year, has won four tournaments this year including the SCIAC Championships, the Kingsmen and CMS Invitationals and a dual match with Cal State Fullerton. He has also had five additional top five finishes in 12 events. He is ranked fourth in the nation according to golfstat.com. He is ranked first or second in several categories including par three scoring (first), par four scoring (first), par five scoring (second), greens in regulation (second), sub-par strokes per round (first). He is the top ranked player in the West Region with a season scoring average of 71.45.
The championships will be held May 11-14, at the Hershey Links and Hershey Country Club, in Hershey, Pennsylvania. The championships will be hosted by Elizabethtown College.
