Stag Alum Lee Advances In PGA Tour Qualifying
Four-time All-American Tain Lee (CMC '12) advanced to the First Qualifying Stage of the PGA Tour Q School by finishing 14th in one of the PGA Q School Pre-Qualifying Tournaments. Over the last three days at the Black Horse Golf Club in Seaside, he shot rounds of 73, 73 and 70 for a 54-hole even-par total of 216.
There are eight pre-qualifying tournaments taking place this month and the top group at each tournament advance to the First Qualifying Stage. This next stage takes place from mid- to late-October at 13 courses around the country. The closest one of these courses is the Oak Valley Golf Club in Beaumont which will be the site of the SCIAC Championships this spring.
