East Coast Trip Hands CMS First Losses Of The Season
After a 3-1 win to start the season on Aug. 31, the No. 9 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps men’s soccer team played in the Mayor’s Cup Tournament hosted by SUNY Oneonta on Sept. 6-7 and lost both of its matches. In the tournament’s opening game on Friday, Franklin & Marshall defeated CMS (1-2) 4-0. Then against defending NCAA Division III national champion and top-ranked Messiah on Saturday, the Stags lost 3-0.

Men's Soccer Gets Two On All-West Region Team
The National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) announced its All-West Region men’s soccer team and two Claremont-Mudd-Scripps senior forwards in Harrison Doyle (CMC) and David Taylor (CMC) were named to the second team. The duo led the team to a SCIAC Tournament title and automatic bid to the NCAA Championships in each of their four seasons, including a 13-7-2 campaign in 2012.
