Matt Gannon (SO, Valencia) and Lisal Smith (SR, Davis) were selected SCIAC Athletes of the Week for the week of January 15-21. Both swimmers won two individual events and were on one relay as both teams won at Pomona-Pitzer. Gannon won the 400 IM in a conference-leading time of 4:25.02 and finished the event over nine seconds in front of second. He won the 100 back by 3.5 seconds with a time of 57.22. He split 26.65 leading off the winning 200 medley relay.

She won the back by over 1.5 seconds and the breast by three seconds.
