Stags Defeat Kingsmen To Remain Undefeated

The CMS Stag swimming and diving teams traveled to Thousand Oaks on Saturday, January 30 and defeated California Lutheran by a score of 151-65. CMS is now 6-0 in SCIAC competition.

The Stags were led by triple winner, Austin Hallett [pictured].  Hallett won the 400 IM in 4:23.31, the 100 backstroke in 54.39 and teamed with Andrew Cosentino, Ryan Kristensen and Jeff McNerney to win the 200 yard freestyle relay.

Four additional Stags were double winners on the day.  Vincent Pai missed an NCAA D-III B-cut in the 100 breast by a scant .02 seconds, while taking first in that event.  Pai joined Blake Weber, Jordan Lieberman and Kristensen to win the 200 medley relay, as well.  Weber also was victorious in the 200 freestyle.  In addition to his 200 free relay leg, Jeff McNerney won the 500 free in a personal best time of 4:55.84.

On the boards, Garrett Smith won the 3-meter event and Andrew Fevery won 1-meter diving.
