The CMS Stags Tennis Team closed out their dual match schedule today with a 7-0 victory over Occidental to finish 3rd in the SCIAC tournament.

The CMS Stags Tennis Team lost for the second time in two weeks to Cal Lutheran by a score of 4-3, today's match in the semifinals of the SCIAC tournament at Whittier College. After defeating Caltech in the opening round by a 4-0 score, the Stags looked to avenge a heartbreaking 4-3 loss to Cal Lutheran only 13 days ago.

In a classic college tennis battle, the Stags dropped a 4-3 decision to league rivals Cal Lutheran. The doubles point was decided after the Kingsmen fought off two match points in an epic 11-9 tiebreak victory atr #2 doubles.

The CMS Stags played two matches Friday at the Dana Hill Tennis Center. In the first, against defending National Champion Middlebury College, the Stags won at #1 doubles, but were unable to win at any other position in a 7-0 loss.

Stags Lose Tough One to Trinity; Beat UT Tyler Mar 12 The #6 ranked CMS Stags split a doubleheader on Saturday in San Antonio to open their five match Spring Break road trip in Texas. The Stags lost to #9 ranked Trinity 5-2 in the morning and then came back to defeat University of Texas at Tyler 5-2 in the afternoon.

The #6 ranked CMS Stags defeated Occidental College Wednesday night 7-0 at the CMS Courts. The Stags did not drop a set to keep their SCIAC record a perfect 3-0.

The #6 ranked CMS Stags defeated the University of La Verne in a rain delayed match on Sunday 7-0. The Stags swept both the doubles and singles to improve their SCIAC record to 2-0 and their overall record to 3-4.

The CMS Stags Tennis Team lost a hard fought season opener to Division I Cal Poly San Luis Obispo on Friday in Central California. With rain delaying the start of the match until 3:00 PM, both teams fielded their singles players first, with the Stags winning at the number one, three, and five positions.
