Stags Have Successful Week

The CMS men's water polo team went 3-2 during the week to improve their record to 4-11. They beat George Washington University 12-9 on Wednesday and were 2-2 at their own Claremont Convergence Tournament over the weekend. They beat Chapman University 12-10 and Washington & Jefferson College 10-6. They lost to Johns Hopkins University 10-8 and to Bucknell University 12-4.

J.P. Wright (SR, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) led the team with nine goals on the week. Andrew Zepfel (JR, Sherman Oaks) added eight and Matt Milich (SR, Pasadena) had seven. 12 of the 18 field players scored at least one goal. Xande Wright (SO, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil) had 41 saves in three games and Robby Field (SR, Honolulu, HI) had 21 in two games.

CMS opens SCIAC play this Saturday, October 14. They host Whittier at 11:00 at Axelrood Pool.
