Greg Lonzo was hired as the Head Men's and Women's Water Polo Coach and Visiting Instructor of Physical Education in August of 2007. The Stags have finished in the top two in the SCIAC the last four seasons including SCIAC Championships in 2010 and 2012.
Lonzo is a 2002 graduate of Pepperdine University with a degree in Business Administration. He was a four-year varsity player and is the career leader in goals scored at Pepperdine. He was a three-time All-American and runner-up for National Player of the Year in 2002. He is excited for the opportunity to coach at a college level and for the challenges of recruiting, developing student-athletes, and representing the Colleges in the community. Lonzo has previously served as the Head Coach at the Riverside Water Polo Club coaching both an 18-under and a 16-under team. He also served two years as an assistant coach at Claremont-Mudd-Scripps. He worked in over 20 water polo camps representing Pepperdine.
