Not to be overlooked by the impressive offensive performance, sophomore pitcher Hayley Schultz (18-3) went the distance and allowed just one hit – a chopper off the plate – to the first batter of the game and struck out three. Palmer, Latta and O'Neill all had two hits for CMS.
