Linfield (34-7) enters the tournament as the No. 1 seed after earning the automatic qualification from the Northwest Conference. The No. 2 seed Redlands (30-13) received an at-large bid after coming in second place to the No. 3 seed CMS (28-13), the 2014 SCIAC Tournament champions.

Both teams are familiar foes for CMS. The Athenas have already played Redlands seven times this year, most recently for the SCIAC Tournament title.

The last match up with Linfield was in 2013 at the Leadoff Classic Tournament in Georgia. CMS won 2-0 on the back of the current junior Hayley Schultz who threw a one-hitter for the shutout win to advance the Athenas to the championship game of that tournament.

All games will be played at Redlands.
