Life at CMC: Economics / Accounting major with Leadership Sequence...Student Athlete Advisory Council Member...selected as one of two student spokespersons to launch CMC's campaign for growth in 2008
On Court: All-court player who joined the Stags from St. George's School in Spokane, where he won the 1A Washington State Singles Championship three consecutive years...attained a singles ranking of #11 and a #1 doubles ranking in the Pacific Northwest Boys 18s in 2003...as a freshman posted a 14-11 overall singles record primarily at the #6 position...finished the season by winning 9 of his last 10 matches...also went 7-6 in doubles with four different partners...was voted "most improved" by his teammates at year end...as a sophomore reached the round of 16 at the ITA West Regionals and the semifinals of the doubles...posted an impressive 11-3 singles mark primarily at #6, including a dramatic win against Middlebury...went 8-3 in doubles with DePaolo, Evans, and Chidester...participated in Ojai Valley Independent College event...as a junior was a consistent starter at #5 and #6 singles and had a 16-9 record, including straight set wins at Div I opponents Loyola Marymount and UC Davis...in doubles earned a 5-1 record with three different partners...Second Team All-SCIAC selection...this season reached a career best quarterfinal in singles at the ITA West Regionals to earn a #14 pre-season ranking in the west...won ITA West Regional doubles title with partner Lawrence Wang and advanced to ITA Small College Nationals where he and Wang won two of three matches and finished fifth...ranked #5 pre-season nationally and #1 in the west... doubles All-American and Captain of this season's CMS team.
