Life at CMC: Economics Major

On Court: All-court player with lots of heart...as a freshman played at #5 and #6 singles and tallied a 3-1 record, going undefeated in dual match play...in doubles, partnered Sabater, Solomon, and Wiener to go 4-2 overall...made collegiate debut in Fall of 2005 for Stags at ITA West Regionals in singles and doubles...as a sophomore participated in ITA West Regionals in the fall and then went 5-1 in singles, primarily at positions #4-6, and 6-0 in doubles with Chidester, Sabater, and Crandall...this season spent the fall in Salamanca, Spain.

Personal: Trains at the Austin Tennis Academy under the tutelage of CMC Alum Jack Newman ('83)...worked during 'gap year' between finishing high school and matriculating at CMC and worked for family charitable organization A Glimmer of Hope, and then help set up the initial microcredit program for the foundation in Ethiopia...recipient of the2008 Kelly Davidson Memorial Outstanding Philanthropic Youth for his non-profit work in central Texas...has travelled extensively through Europe and Africa...represented England in the World Maccabi Games in Rome, Italy during summer of 2007...favorite player is Tomas Berdych because 'he's so clean'...likes hip hop and southern rap...big University of Texas and Houston Rockets fan...motto is 'Go Big or Go Home'...nicknamed 'Berbz.

Ideal Vacation Spot... anywhere where there is a beach and sun

Being a student/athlete for CMS is...  the best way to spend 4 years of college

My pets' names...  Dogs Major and Cedric named after UT football players
