Clark Named SCIAC Athlete Of The Week

Jeff Clark (SR, Los Altos) was selected SCIAC Athlete of the Week for the week of April 20-26.  He was the only athlete to win three events at the SCIAC Championships and after the meet was named SCIAC Track & Field Athlete of the Year. On Saturday, he won the long jump with a personal best of 22-11.25 on his last attempt. On Monday, he won the triple jump with a personal best and NCAA qualifying mark of 47-3 and then won the high jump for the third straight year with a jump of 6-6.75. He is only the 18th male in the 95-year history of the meet to win three individual events and first to win these three events at the same meet.
