SCIAC Post-Season Tournament: #4 Athenas Travel to #1 Oxy for SCIAC Semi-Finals.

The Athenas (16-9, 7-7 SCIAC) hope to continue their four-game winning streak  by taking on Occidental College (20-5, 12-2 SCIAC) in the SCIAC Post-Season Tournament tonight, Feb. 25. Tonight's game will be audio-broadcasted live via internet at 7:15 PM. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 PM.

In their previous meeting, the Athenas had a difficult time converting on offense, shooting only 36.6 percent on the night (26-71) compared to the Tigers' 51% shooting percentage (25-49). Despite the Athenas' inconsistency, they were able to force the game into overtime; but the Tigers' 50% shooting and perfect 5-5 free throw shooting in overtime was too much for the CMS. The Tigers narrowly defeated the Athenas 76-73.

The winner of tonight's game will play the winner of the Redlands/Cal Lutheran matchup.
