Three Athenas Earn All-SCIAC Honors
The women's basketball All-SCIAC team was announced today and three Athenas were selected to the team. Frannie Hemmelgarn and Aria Krumwiede earned First Team honors and Kalika Tullock earned Second Team honors. This is Hemmelgarn's and Tullock's first All-SCIAC selection while Krumwiede was also First Team All-SCIAC in 2009-10 and was Second Team All-SCIAC in 2008-09.
Hemmelgarn led the Athenas in scoring (11.6/g) and rebounding (7.1/g) and finished fourth and fifth in the conference in those categories. She also finished third in free throw percentage (84.6), seventh in steals (1.8/g) and 10th in assists (2.3/g). Krumwiede was fifth in SCIAC scoring (11.5/g), fourth in assists (3.2/g) and led the conference in three-pointers made (26). Tullock was sixth in conference scoring (11.3/g), eighth in free throw percentage (76.4), 12th in rebounding (6.3/g) and 14th in field goal percentage (40.3).
