CMS women's basketball program to host three summer camps
The Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's basketball team is hosting three summer camps in 2014.
The Team Camp, for all high school Varsity, JV and club teams, will be hosted June 27-29 at CMS. This camp will include a minimum of four games against top competition, certified officials, individual skill development sessions, special situations, camp t-shirt and college information session. The camp is $325 per team or $600 for two teams. Space is limited.
The Individual Skills Camp will focus on fun and fundamentals for girls entering grades 1-12 and is scheduled to be held on June 23-26 at CMS. The camp will run from 9-3 each day and will include excellent instruction from CMS coaches and players. The camp will focus on the development of fundamental skills with an emphasis on shooting, footwork and ball handling. All campers will receive a camp t-shirt, award and evaluation.
The Elite Camp, for rising high school students, will be hosted on August 23, 2014 at CMS. The goal of the camp is give serious high school players the opportunity to participate in a college level basketball practice. The camp will include fundamental skill development stations, position work, and competitive games. The basketball portion of the camp will run from 4:30-7:30 PM. A CMS Colleges Information session and campus tour, is also included for all interested camp participants from 2:00-4:00PM.
All camps will be run by CMS women's basketball head coach Kristen Dowling along with top collegiate and high school coaches. Space is limited for both camps. To register for the camp, please download the appropriate brochure and mail in the registration form on the back of the brochure.
