Sanchez Signs With Los Angeles Sol

Head Women's Soccer coach Keri Sanchez was recently signed as a free agent by the Los Angeles Sol of the Women's Professional Soccer league.  She has started and played all 90 minutes in the last two Sol games, a 3-1 home win over the Washington Freedom and 0-0 road tie against Sky Blue FC.

Sanchez has previously played professionally in the now defunct WUSA.  She was drafted by the Boston Breakers and also played for the San Jose Cyber Rays.  She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill and played on four NCAA Championship soccer teams.  While at UNC she earned various honors as a player, including Academic All-American for three years and captain/MVP her senior season.
