Keri Sanchez begins her 11th year at CMS after a career in the WUSA (San Jose & Boston) and seven years assisting with the University of Oregon women's soccer team. She has led the Athenas to two SCIAC Championships and four SCIAC Tournament titles including one in 2013.
Sanchez is a 1995 graduate of the University of North
Carolina-Chapel Hill, where she majored in Physical Education while
competing on four NCAA Championship soccer teams. While at
UNC she earned various honors as a player, including Academic
All-American for three years and captain/MVP her senior season. She
was a member of the US Soccer National Team Pool. She was also an
all conference track athlete (400M hurdles).
Sanchez has a Master of Science degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Oregon. She has experience with various soccer constituencies, including Olympic Development, club soccer, youth soccer, and soccer camps.
