Keri Sanchez begins her 13th year at CMS in 2016-17 after a career in the WUSA (San Jose & Boston), WPS (Los Angeles), and seven years assisting with the University of Oregon women's soccer team. She has led the Athenas to three SCIAC regular season championships and four SCIAC Tournament titles, most recently in 2013.
Sanchez is a 1995 graduate of the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, where she majored in Physical Education while competing on four NCAA Championship soccer teams. While at UNC she earned various honors as a player, including Academic All-American for three years and captain/MVP her senior season. Also at UNC,she was an all conference track athlete for 2 years (400M hurdles). She was a member of the US Soccer National Team Pool.
Sanchez has a Master of Science degree in Exercise Physiology from the University of Oregon. She has experience with various soccer constituencies, including Olympic Development, club soccer, youth soccer, and soccer camps.
