Athenas continue to climb the rankings

With two impressive wins over ranked teams on Monday, March 14, the CMS Women's Tennis Team climbed 7 spots up the Campbell's/ITA National Team rankings from #28 to #21.  The Athenas beat then #25 ranked Trinity Texas 7-2 and went on to overwhelm then #21 ranked University of the South 8-1.  Kristin Lim (So. - Honolulu, HI) remains undefeated in singles and doubles (with partner Crystal Lim Fr. - Orange, CA) this season. In the ITA West Region, the Athenas are ranked third behind Chapman and Pomona-Pitzer. Three Athenas, Kristin Lim- ranked #1, Crystal Lim -ranked #17 and Chloe Dobbart (Fr. - Walnut Creek, CA)-ranked #18 have been recognized in the West Region singles rankings, the most players from any one school inside the top 18. Lim and Lim remain on top of the doubles rankings in the West.

The Athenas will round out their play in March with home matches against Trinity-CT on the 22nd, Pacific on the 24th, Whitman on the 26th and Oberlin on the 30th.
