2011 Training Camp

Over the last weekend in January, the CMC Athenas Tennis team had their 2011 training camp on the beach at Dana Point.  Assistant Coach Hank Krieger and his wife Rita kindly hosted the team at their beautiful ocean-side home for the weekend. The team left Claremont on Friday afternoon and went to the courts to play some doubles upon arrival. After the tennis, they enjoyed a team dinner and participated in a lively round of Team Bonding Jeopardy.

The Athenas settled down for a good night's rest before rising early for breakfast and a beautiful run along the beach. They followed that up with a feisty table tennis tournament and then returned to the courts for a singles tiebreaker tournament. After the tennis was done, it was time to return to Claremont but everyone left looking forward to the next time they get to make the trip back.
