Lim And Ward Named To ITA All-American Team
The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) has announced the 2013 All-America Teams for Women's NCAA Division III and CMS had two women selected to the team. Kristin Lim earned All-American honors in singles and doubles and Caroline Ward earned All-American honors in doubles.

Williams Hands Athenas First Loss Of Season; Sends CMS To Third Place Game
In March the No. 2 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women’s tennis team defeated Williams College 5-4 in Claremont. Tuesday’s matchup ended differently however as five-time defending NCAA champion Williams topped CMS 5-1 in the semifinals of the NCAA Division III Women’s Tennis Championships at Stowe Stadium.

A strong performance by the top of the lineup in both singles and doubles play gave the No. 2 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women’s tennis team a 5-1 win over No.8 University of Chicago on Monday in the quarterfinals of the NCAA Division III Women’s Tennis Championships at Stowe Stadium.

Athenas Move Into NCAA Quarterfinals With Win Over Pomona-Pitzer
The No. 2 ranked Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's tennis team defeated Pomona-Pitzer 5-3 in the third round of the NCAA Division III Women's Tennis Championships on Sunday afternoon at the Biszantz Family Tennis Center in Claremont, Calif. With the win, CMS advances to the Division III Quarterfinals May 20 in Kalamazoo, Mich. against the University of Chicago.

Senior Kristin Lim and freshman Caroline Ward have been selected to represent the Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women’s tennis team in the singles and doubles competition of the 2013 NCAA Division III Women’s Tennis Championships the NCAA announced Wednesday. The individual and doubles championships will take place May 23-25 at Stowe Stadium in Kalamazoo, Mich.

Three Wins In Three Matches For Athenas Over The Weekend
The No. 8 Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women’s tennis team won each of its three matches over the weekend, and nearly swept each of its matches in the process to move to 7-0 on the season. The Athenas defeated No. 18 University of the South 8-1 on Saturday and then returned to the court on Sunday and beat No. 15 Trinity (Texas) University and Case Western Reserve University 9-0 at the Biszantz Family Tennis Center.

Q & A With Coach: Gretchen Rush Magers - Women’s Tennis
Gretchen Rush Magers is in the midst of her first season as head coach of the ninth-ranked CMS women’s tennis team and she took a few minutes out of her busy schedule recently to talk about her experiences as a player and why she chose to coach at CMS. Rush Magers played 10 years on the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA) tour and has played in the U.S. Open, French Open and Wimbledon. She represented the United States in the 1984 Olympics and has also represented the U.S. in the World University Games, the Pan American Games and the Senior ITF World Championships.

Playing within the familiar confines of the Biszantz Family Tennis Center, CMS Women's Tennis dominated the final day of competition at the USTA/ITA West Regional Championships. For the third year in a row, Kristin Lim ( SR - Honolulu, HI) took home the singles title and then teamed with Caroline Ward (FR - Edina, MN) to claim victory in the doubles competition.
