Bennett Naden, son of Elizabeth Saar and Gregory Naden, hails from Middleton, WI, Money Magazine's 2009 'Best Place to Live in America."  His high school personal bests were 2:00 (800), 4:28 (16:00), 9:37 (3200) and 16:43 (5K).  He was a three-time MVP for cross country at Middleton, an individual Division I State qualifier and earned Big 8 All-Conference honors.  His idea of the perfect run is going along the California coast barefoot, and dashing into the breakers at the end.
