Allison Barnwell's spirit animal is the gecko. The Alaskan native enjoys running in the mountains and summiting Alaska's peaks. She loves being able to finish her runs with a jump in a lake, and her dream run is somewhere in the wilds of Norway. She enjoys cooking with foods she picks, especially beets. Allison's 5k P.R. is 17:26 and her steeple P.R. is 10:42. She says of CMS cross-country: "I love our team and our traditions and how many trails we run in this program." Allison has been known to practice her steeple skills over rocks, hedges and fences and streams with the grace of a prancing deer.
