2012 will mark Coach Beck's 27th year with the program, the last 23 coaching. He was a member of CMS' first men's cross country SCIAC Championship team and graduated from Harvey Mudd in 1990 . He started coaching at CMS that fall. In 1992 he earned a Master's degree from the U.S. Sports Academy in Sport Management. In addition to his coaching duties, Coach Beck serves as the CMS Sports Information Director. He and his wife Kathy live in Yorba Linda and have two sons, Kevin and Ryan.  Kevin attends UCLA and Ryan attends Yorba Linda High School.
