CMS Athletics Celebrates NCAA Division III Week April 1-7

CLAREMONT, Calif. - The Claremont-Mudd-Scripps athletic department will be part of a nationwide celebration of NCAA Division III athletics, as part of the organization's annual DIII Week from April 1-7.

The athletic department and CMS Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) have worked together to plan out a week full of events, culminating in a weekend which features seven of the 10 spring sports in action in Claremont at the same time on Saturday (five home events, plus men's and women's track and field at the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational). 

Here is a look at the schedule planned for the week:

Do-Nuts for DIII - 9:30-11 a.m. (The Hub)

Student-Athlete Vignettes with Faculty and Staff - 3:30-4:45 p.m. (Freeburg Lounge, Athenaeum - treats provided)

Women's Water Polo home match with Cal Lutheran, 4 p.m. (Axelrood Pool) - SAAC Game of the Week.  (SAAC will be raffling off free Pepo Melo bowls and a month's worth of juices as well as other things for DIII Week)
