Ohio is a long way from Claremont. Over 2,000 miles in fact. In my 4 years of college I almost ran enough miles to run that distance twice over. It is not all of these miles that I will remember from my time here, rather it is all the memories I made before, during, and after each and every run. While at CMS I got to run alongside All-Americans, mathematicians, and some dude who could name any species of bird without fail. I had the opportunity to improve vastly from my high school running career, and to eventually have the opportunity travel as part of an NCAA team, and compete among the best in the SCIAC.
After my time with CMS, I am moving on to Seattle where I will be working with Amazon's Prime Air team as a hardware development engineer. I plan on continuing to run competitively and maybe even trying to compete in some bike races. I plan on taking full advantage of the great outdoors here, and hang out with the CMS alumni in the area. I will miss waking up every morning and seeing 60 of my closest friends, sharing the pain/joy of a run together, and then entering the holy land that is Collins after.
