Attiyeh and Ransom Represent Athenas On WGCA All-American Scholars List

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. - Emily Attiyeh (CMC '18) and Kelly Ransom (CMC '19) of the 2018 national championship winning Claremont-Mudd-Scripps women's golf team have been selected as All-American Scholars by the Women's Golf Coaches Association (WGCA). The teams were announced on July 3 by the WGCA.

The criteria for selection to the All-American Scholar Team is a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.50.

Both Ransom and Attiyeh were second team All-SCIAC selections during the 2018 season, and were key contributors at the NCAA Division III Championships, where the Athenas took home the title in May. Attiyeh placed 48th while Ransom place in a tie for 52nd out of 130 golfers at the NCAA Championships.
